On 1 January 2015, a freshman of the Chinese University, Chris, was baptized into Christ at Clear Water Bay.

Chris is a capable and proud teenager. He is the top student at school, he is the Head Prefect and member of school debate team.
Three years ago, Chris was invited by his classmate to teens bible talk. Later he also joined the Youth Summit 2013, being invited by his classmate Beverly. He was moved by the sharing and hence started to study the bible. All the sudden, he left. Later on, he sent messages to the Christians telling them that he would not come to church anymore.

He was moved by the sharing and hence started to study the bible. All the sudden, he left. Later on, he sent messages to the Christians telling them that he would not come to church anymore.
However, Beverly came up with her courage to invite Chris to Youth Sector Camp in 2014 summer. This time, Chris was deeply moved by the love of the disciples. He started to rebuild his relationship with the Christians and studied the bible again.
Due to his proud, it was not easy to challenge his selfishness and pride. Fortunately, Chris valued the Word of God, and he was willing to submit to the bible’s teaching.
Chris is a guy who does not know what is love and has misconception in relationship. The brothers, on one hand walk with him in love, on the other hand, challenged his sins without holding back. At last he changed from indifference and grumble to his family to appreciation and admiration; from self-seeking to giving to other teens; from insecurity to deny himself to follow God. Now he volunteer to be tutor to help other teens, he make small gifts and write cards. His changes inspired and encouraged other brothers and sisters.
Right after he counted the cost to become a Christian, he determined to get baptized as soon as possible. In just two hours, his mother, classmates and more than 20 brothers and sisters witness his baptism in Clear Water Bay. Glory be to God!
